Using the doily pattern from Knitter's #50, Spring 1998, I made this shawl from the lighter of the Dunnose Head Farm's Falkland wools. Big needles made this a quick two weekend project. It is about 50 inches in diameter, so if I fold the top over just a little, it makes a "loverly" long wrap :-)

 

The brown one is just the same except I used a cone of natural brown sheep...a single ply. Knew I would get more use from a practical "dirt" colored shawl for everyday use.
